Solutions

Current Status: You should now see all users including guests marked with "(Guest)"

If still missing users:
  1. Check User Status: Deleted or deactivated users won't appear
  2. Guest Users: These now appear with "(Guest)" label
  3. Bot Users: These are automatically filtered out
Tip: The system now includes all active human users, including guests and restricted users.

For Private Channels:
  1. Go to the private channel in Slack
  2. Click the channel name at the top
  3. Go to "Settings" tab
  4. Click "Add apps"
  5. Search for and add "StandUp Mate"
For Group Messages (Multi-person DMs):
Limitation: Group messages require the mpim:read scope which is currently missing. You can still use individual user selection instead of group messages.
Workaround: Select individual users instead of using group message channels for standups.

Warning: This will require reconfiguring all your standups.
Steps to reinstall with full permissions:
  1. Go to your Slack workspace settings
  2. Navigate to "Apps" → "Manage"
  3. Find "StandUp Mate" and remove it
  4. Use the "Add to Slack" button to reinstall
  5. Make sure to grant all requested permissions

This will add the missing mpim:read scope for group messages.

Method 1: Through Channel Settings
  1. Open the channel in Slack
  2. Click the channel name at the top
  3. Go to "Integrations" tab
  4. Click "Add apps"
  5. Find and add "StandUp Mate"
Method 2: Using @mention
  1. In the channel, type: @StandUp Mate
  2. Click "Invite to Channel" when prompted
Result: The channel will now appear in your channel selection list with a "✓" indicator.
